• Windows platforms, Internet Explorer version 4.0+ and Netscape Communicator version 4.5+ are fine.
• Macintosh, Internet Explorer only, version 4.5+, with Java Virtual Machine Apple MRJ 2.2. Macintosh Netscape simply doesn't implement crucial features of Java 1.1 (like mouse input).
• A variety of people have used a variety of Linux systems successfully, with Netscape versions 4.5 or higher. There may be redraw problems if big jobs are running in the background.

We simply haven't tried any other computers.

Please don't print the graphical simulator using your web browser. The Windows Print Screen mechanism can be used. Depending on the background colors, the pictures may not print well, though.

Growing and shrinking the window in Netscape doesn't work to resize the simulator. This is a Netscape bug.

If the graphics get really confused, try Shift+Reload icon in Netscape (Ctrl+Reload icon in Internet Explorer). This reloads the Java applet from the webserver and starts fresh.
